Unbeatable Power & Torque

The Gurkha 2.6/4x4 is powered by the proven BS IV compliant, Mercedes OM 616 derived, 2.6 litre Turbo Charged Inter-cooled, direct injection diesel engine that develops 85 hp @ 3200 rpm & 230 Nm torque which is mated with the new G-28 5-speed all-synchromesh gearbox.

Most Rugged & Reliable

All new C-in-C Chassis frame welded using robotic welding technique for excellent strength in bending and torsion. Unmatched corrosion resistance on account of Cathodic Electro-Deposition (C.E.D) primer coating.

Best in Class Ride Quality

It features independent front suspension in the front and Multi Link with pan hard rod and coil spring suspension in the rear along with gas charged telescopic shock absorbers and Anti Roll Bars, which works brilliantly well for mild / moderate off-roading and offering excellent handling and ride comfort on both tarmac as well as rough rural roads.

Smooth Gear Shifting

New G-28 5-speed all-synchromesh gearbox with Cable Shift for smooth gear shifting and convenient H pattern.

Comfortable Seating Options

Can comfortably seat 8 persons excluding the driver, most spacious vehicle in its category.

Snorkel Intake – Breathes High Altitude Fresh Air

Unlike others, where the air intake is closer to the ground and prone to dust entry, the air intake of the Gurkha is through a snorkel mounted at the roof height of the vehicle that ensures ample supply of clean air to the engine ensuring better combustion and lower strain on the air cleaning system. The snorkel also gives Gurkha a high water wading ability of up-to 550mm, unmatched by any other vehicle in this category.

Hard Top With AC

Factory fitted hard top and air conditioning ensuring total safety and comfort even while traversing in extreme weather.
